Dutch Hauhe

A river icon, Errol "Dutch" Hauhe, 75, passed away on Monday February 19th, 2018 with family by his side after a long battle with cancer.  Dutch hailed out of Polestar in the aptly named yacht "Scoundrel" but he could be found anywhere, anytime.  From doing the Great Loop to boating in the middle of winter.  Dutch lead the Blessing of the Fleet Boat Parade for many years, always with impeccable timing arriving at the Shrine.  Multi-faceted, as he was also involved in the automobile business, motorcycles, including a world land speed record motorcycle and the annual Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America.  Most of all he was a great friend, generous to a fault and will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting him.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Blessing of the Fleet or a local charity of your choice in his name.  Our prayers and condolences go out to the Hauhe family.  Arrangements are as follows:

Visitation: Sunday February 25th from 4 PM to 8 PM at Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Rd., Ballwin, MO  63011

Service: Monday the 26th at 10AM from Schrader Funeral Home

Schrader website:  http://www.schrader.com/

Dutch was a member of Con Trios Yacht Club from 2003 to 2012
