Con Trios Yacht Club request for members interested in serving on the Board of Directors:
The Con Trios Yacht Club is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the General Membership each year. Most positions are one year, a few are two year commitments. Fleet Captain Greg Colletta would like to invite any members interested in helping to manage and grow the club to contact him and he will forward the names to the Nominating Committee.
As of right now it appears that there will be openings for at least Secretary and Fleet Surgeon. The position of Secretary is a two year commitment, Fleet Surgeon requires a person from the medical community (Doctor, Nurse, Paramedic, etc.).
Elections for the Board of Directors must be completed by the Full Membership Meeting in October and installation of Officers is effective January 1st. Full qualifications and duties can be found in the Con Trios Yacht Club Membership Roster By-Laws section.
Serving on the Board is a great experience. Your input helps to guide the club into the future while meeting many new boating friends. There is one board meeting per month January thru November.
